We managed to sneak a bonus ride in this week and 4 of us gathered on Thursday night to stretch our legs. Martin turned up on his fixie, so we opted for a flat route out around the Knaresborough villages. We headed out through Starbeck and down the hill to Knaresborough before turning off to Scriven, Lingerfield and Farnham. From there it was left to Staveley and on to Arkendale and Coneythorpe, past a very tempting Tiger Inn.
We returned to Harrogate through Goldsborough and along Abbey Road (where the scaffolding has been taken down – hooray!!) and back up the hill in to Starbeck. Luke thought it would be a fun idea to race up the hill!
It was a nice ride and good to get out on a dry autumn night.
