Fantastic report Martin. You're my hero now.
Shame about the shirt though. I guess you had to discard the Red Kite one in the heat ;-)

Hi Simon,
Our Sunday rides normally average about 15mph. We are looking to run a slightly slower ride if we get the numbers on a Sunday to warrant it. You may want to try a Tuesday or Thursday night first to see how you get on. We normally ride about 25-30 miles on an evening ride.
Hope to see you soon.

Cap guys.
Would like to join you but am new to cycling and worried about not holding people back and frustrating the group. Which session is the best one to join for a first go. The evenings work well for regular attendance as usually embroiled with children's activities at the weekend.

I like your site and hope to get my Colorado,USA version up to your level. We have a few little hills here so the riding is different, probably a little less rain but a little more snow (right now). The picture on my site is Mt Evans as seen from Denver. There is a road all the way to the top, at about 14,200 ft., and it is a frequent ride location for the locals here in Denver.

Hi James, we normally ride about 25-30miles on an evening. We also try to mix it up as well. Hilly sometimes, flat and fast others. Sign up to our Facebook page for more ride info.

Hi Katie,
Yes we do have a couple of women riders and this is an area we would like to encourage more. If you are on Facebook, then sign up to our page for updates on rides etc. I'm not sure about your level of cycling, but once a month we (1st Sunday of the month) we have a shorter 30 mile ride. The next one is on 3rd July, so you might want to come along and give it a go. Or if you have got a few more miles in your legs, then feel free to join us on a Sunday club run or a Tuesday/Thursday evening.
Hope to see you soon.
